What motivates a special education teacher and grandmother to fight back against the continent’s biggest plastics plant? A mission from God.

Sharon Lavigne, 70, has lived in St. James, Louisiana all her life, and she’s watched it turn from the lush and productive farmland of her youth into one of the most polluted places in the country; now known as “Cancer Alley.” When Formosa Plastics announces it will bring another huge petrochemical plant into St. James, God tells Sharon to fight back.

VS. GOLIATH follows Sharon as she wrestles with how to build a better future for St. James.
