Bruton Stroube Outpost is the post-production division of a 40-year-old full-service studio operating in St. Louis. From 15-second spots to feature documentaries, Outpost handles editorial, color, VFX and finishing for national and global clients. The resources and culture of the studio encourage Midwest creatives to compete at the highest level while staying rooted in place.

Anna is a photographer and director, previously a full time editor. She directed Our Terrain, which screened at SLIFF this year following a strong festival circuit. She established the Momentum Film Festival in partnership with Fathom & MFAI, to support the global niche of outdoor films, right here from STL.
Clark Griffiths, Colorist at BSS Outpost
Clark, a professional photographer turned colorist, was working and thriving in Chicago before joining the team at Outpost in 2022. He’s graded everything from Nintendo spots to Chance the Rapper’s music videos to SXSW premieres and local indie films.
Joshua Johnson – Emmy-winning VFX artist, VFX supervisor, director, and writer of Mexican descent with over 18 years of industry experience. He’s worked on more than 25 feature films and has a growing slate of commercial and independent projects, some made right here in St. Louis. Recent credits include Season 2 of Severance, an Emmy nominated HBO doc and Disney’s Hocus Pocus 2.
Shmay Henderson, Moderator
Shmay works as Brand Ambassador for Bruton Stroube Studios and is an active artist in the city. When not covered in paint, she loves connecting with and promoting the growing midwest film scene. Day to day Shmay supports Outpost and BSS projects through social media, BTS, festivals and local events.
