Narrative Shorts 3 – Into The Surreal

Narrative Shorts 3 takes audiences into strange and striking worlds where imagination meets emotion and every story asks what it means to see, to hope, and to let go.

In The Cube and the Sphere, a man’s miraculous surgery to restore his vision leads to unexpected darkness, exploring the limits of perception and desire. Les Bêtes conjures a twisted stop-motion dreamscape of magic keys, monstrous delights, and royal cruelty. ANNA – A Tale for Tomorrow thrusts a teenager into a climate-ravaged future where she must face both the collapse of the planet and her own growing courage. And in Hard to Say, love and mortality collide in a surreal odyssey through a world balanced on one woman’s final breath.

This program is full of imagination and unease, inviting viewers to look closer at what’s real, what’s possible, and what we’re willing to face when both begin to blur.

Filmmakers will be present for a post-screening Q&A.
