Horse Of Nature

Directed by Autie Carlisle

Cast: Belle Sloan, Betty Miller, Dennis Ryan, Dolores Callahan, Michelle Gough, Mikela Ryan, William Edward Simpson II

Rooted in real events, Horse of Nature unfolds in the remote Cascade–Siskiyou Mountains along the Oregon‑California border, where the 400‑person community of Henley‑Hornbrook sits. In 2018, a deadly wind‑whipped 38,000-acre wildfire swept through the town, altering lives and landscapes alike. This documentary follows several survivors and a storied herd of cultural‑heritage wild horses that aided the fight against what became known as the Klamathon Fire.
