In a world built on consumption, something is finally consuming us back. A mysterious package invades the life of a man named Arthur, who feels displaced in the life he worked so hard to construct. Surrounded by colleagues who measure success in material things, he finds comfort in a mysterious package he opens, only to be confronted by a small metallic cube with a card that reads, “LICK ME”. Consumed by the euphoric feeling of licking the cube, he begins to lose the things he took for granted: his marriage, his career, and eventually his physical world.
LICK ME is a surreal psychological satire about consumerism, toxic ambition, and the seductive promise of easy happiness. It explores how far someone is willing to go to escape the discomfort of unmet expectations and what happens when desire itself becomes the product.
