Spaghetti Wars

“Spaghetti Wars, directed and executive produced by veteran Barry Mendelson, is a high-stakes Italian food–based reality pilot shot on St. Louis’s iconic Hill neighborhood. The series, created by local restaurateur Pepe Kehm, pits two family teams against each other in spirited cooking challenges reminiscent of Top Chef, Shark Tank, and even The Sopranos. With Gino D’Acampo starring as “The Boss” and Kehm as “The Under Boss,” the pilot brings a mob-style flair to food competition, culminating in a Big Night–style seven-course dinner for 100 at Viviano’s grocery-turned-event space. Mendelson’s pivot from sports programming leans into the universal appeal of Italian family traditions, aiming to craft a series with both regional roots and global resonance.”

Before the screening the band Dr. Zhivegas will do a 45 minute set starting at 6:30.
