Permanent Scar

An introverted and withdrawn young woman, Kali, meets a precocious little girl at a park. Though she tries to resist, Kali is disarmed by the girl’s charm, and spends the day playing tag, eating ice cream, and sharing stories with her. The duo’s tender but inexplicable friendship begins to make sense as it’s revealed that the little girl is grieving a recent tragedy—and that Kali is the only one who can help her heal.
