Join us as we kick off the 17th Annual Robert French Film Festival with our Opening Night Reception at 6:30 pm at the Hi-Pointe Theatre.
Reception attendees will be treated to French charcuterie & wine from Parker’s Table and sweets by Le Macaron French Pastries. Appearances by Chef Lasse Sorenson of the TV show FOOD IS LOVE and the Executive Producer Jason Pinkson.
After the reception, guests will be welcomed into the auditorium for Opening Remarks and the Midwest Premiere of the film, “Holy Cow.” Doors open for the film at 7:15pm.
Film Description: Totone and his band of friends, local barflies, spend most of their summer scouring the Jura dances. Following the sudden death of his cheese-making father, Totone suddenly finds himself responsible for his 7-year-old sister and must find a way to earn a living. He sets out to make the best Comté cheese with his friends, winning him the gold medal at the agricultural competition and 30,000 euros.
